Sermorelin 10mg

59.50

Sermorelin is the 29-amino-acid, C-terminally amidated N-terminal fragment of human growth-hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH(1-29)-NH₂). It is a selective agonist of the GHRH receptor (GHRHR) on pituitary somatotrophs and is used as a research tool to study hypothalamic-pituitary GH axis dynamics and downstream IGF-1 signaling.

          Mechanism of action

GHRH Receptor Agonism & GH Release

Sermorelin binds to GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, stimulating cAMP/PKA signaling and promoting both GH secretion and GH gene transcription.

          IGF-1 Axis Activation

Released GH acts on the liver and peripheral tissues to increase IGF-1 production, which drives anabolic, lipolytic, and osteoanabolic effects.

          Selective Pituitary Action

GHRH receptor distribution is concentrated in somatotrophs, giving sermorelin selectivity for GH release without significant effects on other pituitary hormones.
